I am Jinfeng Wang (Jacob), a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Faculty of Information Engineering and Automation at Kunming University of Science and Technology, and a Visiting Scholar with the MIRACLE research group at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).

I earned my Master’s in Artificial Intelligence with Distinction from King’s College London (KCL) in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Peter McBurney. In 2024, I received my PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Liverpool, conducting my doctoral research at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University under the supervision of Prof. Jionglong Su and Prof. Jia Meng.

During my PhD, I was a Visiting Doctoral Student (October 2022–July 2024) at the MIRACLE laboratory, USTC Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, supervised by Prof. S. Kevin Zhou.

My research interests include medical image analysis and segmentation, self-supervised representation learning, multimodal medical AI, EEG decoding and brain–computer interfaces, medical embodied intelligence, and exoskeletons for rehabilitation.
